A Legacy of Prominence and Promise
COMING SOON!

The Buffalo Society of Artists was founded in 1891 by James Francis Brown, Ammi Farnham, John Rother, and Mark Maycock. Surviving two world wars, a depression, and two pandemics, the BSA has counted among its members such prominent early international artists as Lars Gustaf Sellstedt, Alice Russell Glenny, Alex O. Levy, and many others.
A Legacy of Prominence and Promise narrates the continuing journey of this organization through the present, with a concentration on the first 130 years (1891-2021). The book itself will be hard cover, 9 inches high by 12 inches wide, consisting of about 500 pages and more than 400 mostly color images, featuring many of our past prominent artists, and over 200 of our present promising artists.
This limited edition collector’s book will be available for early purchase by late Summer. Full details, including price and how to purchase, as well as sample images and text from the book will be presented here over the coming weeks.
